It's nearly Thanksgiving!
Don't pictures like these just melt your heart?
This was our Thanksgiving project with our weekly play group, Lámh Eile.
We're always looking for new members, so if you know people with young children who want to keep up their Irish connections (and learn a few words too), please send them our way. We meet every Thursday and it's great fun, as all our regulars will attest.
And check out our pictures on facebook for more heartwarming - my Thanksgiving gift to you!
And now, onto the main event!
Thanksgiving lunch -
Wednesday, November 27 at 12 p.m.
Please join us for our annual Thanksgiving lunch at Cawley's Irish Pub.
We have more than 70 signed up for our celebration, so please RSVP to Leslie on 610-789-6355 if you are planning to join us.
And don't forget to bring a dessert to share.
(We will have cake for my birthday!)
Christmas Lunch at the Irish Center -
Monday, December 9 at 12 p.m.
We're already taking reservations for our annual Christmas lunch with our partners at the Irish Center.
Last year, we had over 150 people attend, so please make sure you RSVP to Leslie or Peter on 610-789-6355.
We don't want to run out of potatoes, the mountains of which will be hand-peeled by our trusty volunteers.
If you'd like to help peel potatoes or donate to support the lunch, please let me know. We would love to have you!
And save the date - December 19 at 7 p.m.
We will host a thank-you/Christmas party at the Immigration Center on Thursday, December 19 at 7 p.m.
If you haven't visited the Center before, this is your chance. Last year was voted "Best Party Ever" by attendees, so don't miss out!
In other news from the Community ...
